Christopher King has broad experience in M&A, securities and capital market transactions including tender offers, auction procedures, bilateral negotiations, private equity and joint ventures, as well as licensing and distribution. He also advises on competition law issues particularly with respect to distribution, licensing and joint venture arrangements. His particular strength is in multi-jurisdictional transactions.

  • Christopher King has broad experience in M&A, securities and capital market transactions including tender offers, auction procedures, bilateral negotiations, private equity and joint ventures, as well as licensing and distribution. He also advises on competition law issues particularly with respect to distribution, licensing and joint venture arrangements. His particular strength is in multi-jurisdictional transactions. Aside from the natural cross-border focus from his experience and professional qualifications, Dr. King also brings a quantitative approach to M&A and finance documentation as a Certified Financial Modeler. His book on warranties on financial statements contains a structured approach that relates M&A documentation to the underlying valuation model. Dr. King also brings a cross-cultural negotiating appraoch both from formal training (Certified Global Negotiator from the University of St. Gallen) and from his long-standing experience as General Counsel of a large publicly-listed Dutch corporate group.
