Anil Sethi has joined the Kellerhals Carrard team as of Counsel as of September 1, 2019. He strengthens their practice by adding a new dimension of entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship.
Anil is Entrepreneur in Residence at ETH Zurich, and teaches courses on entrepreneurship. He is also an advisor or expert to a number of Swiss and European organisations supporting startups. Over the course of 8 years, he has advised over 200 startups at various stages of development on topics including funding options, investor negotiations, multiple funding rounds and valuation, customer agreements,, ,IP strategy, go-to-market strategy, scaling effectively, and on exit strategy. He guides SMEs and large companies as an advisor in converting innovation to future competitive advantage. He also counsels firms on how to recognise and capture value transition over time.
Anil’s debut management book “From Science to Startup”, published by Springer in 2016, has been recognised as one of the top five books in the world for entrepreneurship and innovation for 2017.
Previously, Anil co-founded and was CEO of Flisom AG, a spin-off of ETH Zurich. He also co-founded Scrona AG and Instaheat AG. Anil is often invited to deliver keynote addresses and provide insights on various elements of entrepreneurship.
Anil qualified as a Chartered Accountant from India and obtained his MBA from the London Business School.
