Cornelia Stengel joined Kellerhals Carrard in 2013. She studied at the university of Zurich, where she also obtained her Ph.D., and has been admitted to the Zurich bar. Her practice focuses on financial services law (in particular leasing, consumer credit and credit card business), data protection law and general contract law.
She has in-depth knowledge and experience in the legal analysis of new products, systems and technologies within the financial market (Fintech). She provides legal advice at all stages of a project from the examination and implementation of business and regulatory requirements to the contractual layout and the set-up of internal processes. She has been involved in the legal structuring of electronic payment systems and researches and publishes in this area.
Additionally, Cornelia Stengel is involved in different associations and legislative projects in the context of her practice areas.
