Notarial services

Our resources and business-focused approach mean that we can offer our clients a wide range of first-class notarial and supporting services. In addition to preparing deeds and documents, our aim is to give advice on the envisaged transaction and to add value to the process through a solution-oriented approach.

Legalisation Services, Apostille and Consular Legalisation

We offer businesses the opportunity to speed up notarisations by using courier and postal services when the document does not need to be signed in the presence of a notary. This dramatically speeds up the turnaround time. We can create customized forms and work out a system tailored to our clients’ specific needs.

In order for most corporate documents to be accepted in foreign jurisdictions that have signed the 1969 Hague Treaty on Legalization, some countries insist on further formalities even after legalization of the documents, such as obtaining an Apostille. Others may require a second legalization by a consulate. We have experience with the necessary formalities for all such countries.

Our recent notarial experience includes:

  • International estate planning for newly formed families with children from former marriages and assets in several jurisdictions
  • Devolution of an estate with several inconsistent wills and assets in several jurisdictions
  • Structuring groups of companies in connection with a merger/demerger
  • Sale of a major part of an industrial plant due to relocation of production
  • Sale and purchase of portfolios of titles in real estates
  • Implementation of the Swiss part of a European sale and lease back
